There’s something happening right now that most people can feel…but can’t quite explain.
Content is getting better and trust is getting lower.
That shouldn’t happen.
But it is.
What we’re seeing isn’t better thinking. It’s better formatting.
AI is helping people produce content faster. Cleaner. More structured.
But it’s also removing something critical.
Authenticity.
Not the surface-level version, the real version.
The kind that comes from doing the work, from failing from figuring things out over time.
That’s what builds trust and that’s the part AI can’t generate.
When everything sounds polished but feels empty…
People start to question it.
They may not say it out loud but they feel it.
And once trust is gone… Nothing else matters.
Sure I use AI in my work, but I do go through the intense effort to put in my own IP and thoughts.
AI has helped this ADHD brain gather and sort everything into something more concise so that you don't get lost in the freeway of my thoughts.
But I think that when there is laziness and heavy reliance on AI to just produce and rehash garbage material then we all lose. We get dumber.
